Insert Mulitple data into the db

Hi dears,

Dear, I need help regarding problem that I am facing.

I want to add the files in a dir/folder to the database.
I have a multi select for the files and a category for the files to be organized.

I want to add some basic information about the file too in the database such as size, type created by etc.

Please tell me How can I select multiple files of the same category into a category with additional information?

Can you explain this a bit better?

Do you actually want to save the data in files into a database, or do you want to keep the files in the folder and just store information about them in the database?
