Hi.

What have you tried so far?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by by "establish a plug-in" between the two products. Could you elaborate on that?

As for extracting and converting the data over from one system to another, that's just a matter of knowing both products well enough to be able to extract and parse the data from one format into another.
That's something nobody will do for you, you will have to do the heavy-lifting on that one yourself.

Unless you manage to find some pre-written tool to do it for you. Although if that exists it is unlikely to be free.

As far as I know, Lotus Notes is a desktop application, but sugarcrm is a web application.

Are you trying to have your web application access data from a desktop application? While this MAY be possible, it's not really a good idea. Browsers are built to protect local data from being accessed by websites, and you won't bypass those security measures in a hurry.

I would seriously consider building a desktop application instead.
Not that that is going to be exactly easy. It will require an in-depth knowledge of both systems.

Or you could always try to find existing software to do this for you.
A Google search usually doesn't fail. (See the first link)
