Having never used Borland, I can't say. Could you list some features?

Editors that can debug PHP off the top of my head:
* Komodo IDE
* Zend Studio
* Eclipse PDT
* phpEclipse
* Vim (a bit of extra configuration required)
* Emacs (a bit of extra configuration required)

I got spoilt by the old Borland IDE - I mean the one as it
existed before Borland quit trying to compete with M$'s VisualC.
It was awfully nice, "a great improvement on its successors", to

I'm already using a very helpful editor (slickedit), so *I'm
covered there. * But it has no debugging capability. *And I don't
have the time to write a debugger myself.

Any suggestions from those who remember the Borland IDE?

I agree. I'm a huge fan of Dreamweaver.
