Re: question about soap

Does anyone know if soap works on Win98SE ?

I've installed the latest Java SDK
And downloaded the latest soap and it seemed to install ok
(I tried both the manuual and win self installer versions and also
tried patching the soapui.bat file into the downloaded java.)

I've also tried changing the set variable. One problem seems
to be associated with the equals sign in the string setting
for JAVA_OPTS but wrapping in quotes doesnt seem to fix it
nor does removing that setting.

When I run soapui.bat all I get is the java help screen

Thank you

Dizzy

Sorry if there's a better newsgroup to ask this please advise (this is the best
I could find - I cant see any reference to OS versions on the soap
forums/buglist)
Erm...
comp.lang.php came up as the best question to ask about using soap for Java?
Strange way of indexng results you must have...

Try your luck here:
comp.lang.java
or here:
comp.lang.java.help

PS: If memory serves me well, Java has dropped support for Win98SE long ago.
