Ah, I see someone's been to spammer class lately...
I haven 't seen him elsewhere yet so maybe it's an "innocent" spam-plug.
But I still have to agree<g>.

I also have to say, I almost understand why everyone and their brother
creates a PHP tutorial. For some beginners it's hard to get a head
around it and the temptation to "straighten out" the information is
pretty high. I've never seen a language with SO many newbie tutorials,
all written with good intentions, but by newbies who haven't yet grasped
the nuances of the language. When I was just getting started I thought
I'd hit pay dirt when I found all those tuts all over the place. Until
they started to contradict each other, most didn't work, the few that
were good turned out to be air code, and so on. That was before I'd
discovered phpnet and w3schools.

OK, I'm done rambling,

Cheers,

It seems that school is Google groups.

I have set my filters to allow Google Grouper posts (scored lower) in this
and a couple of other tech groups I read since there are a number of people
posting good answers from there.

Those are the only newsgroups where I see a lot of blogspot.com spam.

Yea, everyone thinks they can spend a couple of weeks learning PHP then
put together the best tutorial in the universe. Most of them only show
how little the person knows.
