OT: Is it google groups or...

I read many groups onb google groups and as of yesterday
comp.lang.perl.misc is no longer available? Anyone know - is it google
or is the group gone?

Bill H

PS forgive the OT, but if I asked this in the classic computer groups
they would probably have no clue

I don't know the answer to your question, but I suggest you've picked a
wrong forum. Questions here are only valid (according to the php police
here) if the answer can be written in php code. They won't tolerate OT
posts here.

It's on my newsfeed.

I can think of very few groups I'd rather not post to from Google.

I'm afraid you'll have to add me to that list; they're nothing but
pollution most of the time.

isn't that necessarily saying it's relative by saying 'most of the time'?
'pollution', then, is based on whether or not you find the OT post valuable
in some way. in that case, allow ANY OT post and *ignore* the ones you don't
find valuable. someone *else* may find your 'pollution' valuable.

that, or be consistent and fair by saying "they're nothing but
pollution...period".
