test php offline without installing web server?

I'm trying to hack up something quick and dirty in php and I need something that will allow me to quickly test out the scripts offline. I don't wanna install iis or apache because i'm only going to run this script once a while.

I need something like a stanalone exe file that I can run when I need php. otherwise it should not take any mem or cpu time on my pc.

anyone can recommend anything?

thanks!

ahh never mind. After more googling, I found something called quickphp (http://www.zachsaw.co.cc/?pg=quickph...ester_debugger). Exactly what I need.

Thanks anyway.
