PHP requires Apache server and php server.No. PHP does not even require a web server, as you can install it as a
command-line script parser. For use with web sites, you just need a
decent web server. Decent enough to run a script parser on a page, that
is. Even PWS on Windows '98 will do. Or apache, IIS, the Abyss, etc.

I guess IIS is similar functionally to Apache. Then why doesn't ASP
need a asp server like PHP does?
