How to Send and Recive from and to multiple .php files

196 100+
Ok heres what i have at the moment--> Two .php pages with programs on them both, currently i have two seperate posting pages for each of .php pages.

Now first up i need to find a way to send to multiple .php files, this is what im currentlly using for just one -->

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <form id="enquiry" name="enquiry" action="test.php" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST" onSubmit="return checkform();">
  2.
Thats the first part of my question;

Now for the second part - Now that both .php files have have recived what they where supposed to from a single document i need to find out how to do the following or something similar -->

Post information to another single .php file that recieves from both previous files (not the search document but the one's the search document is posting to).

I hope i didn't make that to confusing, ask and i will try to rewrite it; anyhow at this point you have thought it simplier to just join the .php files as they both recieve the same information, the problems lies in the fact that between the two pages the code has pretty similar naming of varibles of functions and as both are over 1000 lines long this would take a lot of renaming throughout either document but if it is a must i will.

Thanks in advanced, all help is greatly appreciated

Heya, Chazzy.

First off, with PHP 5.3, we will have namespaces, so you will have an easier time working with the two files (http://php.net/namespaces).

I suppose what you could do is run one script, then unset all your global variables and include() the second script.

Alternatively, you could use Ajax to 'submit' to both scripts without having to reload the page. Keep in mind, though, that if you go this route, your page will be unusable to anyone who has Javascript disabled.
