Domxml not support for Linux-ubuntu

Hi guys,
Any body have any idea about php5 domxml with obuntu linux server.
I have installed php5,Apache2,Mysql on linux ubuntu server,but Domxml is not working properly.I dont know why domxml is not working,If anybody have any idea about domxml means pleach share your knowledge here.

Did you compile your PHP with the --with-dom option?
It's not available by default so you have to install it.
