mv doesn't work...

I try to move somefiles:

mv /home/boris/tmp/*.txt /tmp/

How to do this in PHP on Linux RedHat...

Doesn't work with exec, passthru, system ?

Any idea ?

Thanks

did you try specifying the path to mv?

Maybe your webserver is running chrooted where it can't see mv?
Does not have permission to run mv?
Does not have permission to modify /home/boris/tmp?
Does not have permission to modify /home/boris/tmp/* ?
Does not have permission to modify /tmp ?

Try using the PHP rename function instead (won't solve permissions problem).
