Dear frens,
Who is this "frens" person you keep referring to? Not only that, who
the L are you?
Need your help to spend a minute of your time to vote for my little
boy in Cutefam 2008 contest. Please click --->>>
[snipped] to vote.
Second, what is this "Cutefam" thing, and what does it have to do with
PHP? Is it an open/closed source PHP project of some sort?
I took a glance at it, and it seemed to be a competition for the
"cutest family" or something, at which point I lost all interest I had
in it (which wasn't much to begin with, anyway). And judging by the
looks of it, it also seemed to restrict itself to Asian families only,
which is even less-so interesting for the rest of the world.
When I read a PHP newsgroup, I expect the subject to be on PHP scripts
and applications (or just PHP programming). I also expect off-topic
posts to come from regulars only (or at least long time subscribers of
the group), not just some random schmuck who happened to jump in with a
"vote for me" or "vote for this one" type of spam.
The rule is only one vote per ip per day. So, you can only vote once
a
day until 28th June. Appreciate if you can forward this link to your
frens and family. Thanks a lot in advanced for your help.
Why do I have to vote for something that 1, doesn't affect my life, and
B, doesn't interest me at all? I mean, it doesn't even spark an
electron of interest to me (or any other subatomic particle, for that
matter), and that's saying a lot.
To the other more respectable part of the comp.lang.php subscribers
(which is, basically, the rest of you), I'm truly sorry; I just had to
get it out of my system. Every now and then I get the urge to vent out
against newsgroup spammers. At least I left out the URL in my reply.
