how to connect mysql/php from dreamweaver mx2004

Hi to all.
I am new in the web designing. I started using dream weaver mx 2004. I am just able to do design but not able to connect mysql. I am using apache sever. Please explain me how to connect all three for web designing. Thank you so much.

Well you need a mysql database!

I suggest developing locally on XAMPP. It comes bundled with php, mysql, etc. and is very easy to install! Seriously, just a minute and you're away!

If you chose to go down this road, install everything and then come back with more questions. We'll give you some good help!

When you've gotten your server up an running, start by checking out the PHP Manual to see how to connect to you MySQL database.

Should also add: i wouldnt reccommend using DreamWeaver!
