HTML email -> lotus notes

Hi,

Has anybody had any experience sending HTML email to a Lotus Notes client?
I am having a problem that the mail is arriving HTML to everyone except
these clients.

Does anyone know of any particular problems related to these clients?

Here is my code.... [some snipped, but important bits are there]

$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";

//[db code snipped]

if (
@mail($member['db_email'],$_POST['subject'],$_POST['body'],$headers.'From:
'.ADMIN_EMAIL) )
....

where ADMIN_EMAIL is:

define( 'ADMIN_EMAIL', 'webmaster@myclientsdomain' );

Many, many thanks
Mark

What version of Lotus Notes are they using? And is it the same as the
version of Domino running on their server?
If not - can they, in fact receive HTML mail from _any_ external address?

I'm not sure, I'll find out, does this make a difference?

I beleive so yes, its just these that come out wacked. Odd thing is the
content type I send if the the body istelf, it comes out something like:
Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

Yes :-(

There is some setting on the Lotus server that causes HTML emails to
be destroyed, turning them into some sort of extremely badly rendered
RTF format.

If you can't get the setting changed, then the closest you can get is
sending the HTML as an attachment, which is horrible.

Notes accepts ETF (enriched text format) messages, which I had a look
at as an alternative before the setting got fixed. You can't do tables
in it, though, and the formatting is very restricted.

Even when it does accept HTML, it doesn't do a very good job of that
either, with various styles ignored.
