Access each class member without their names

I have MVC style coding. my DAO classes execute the SQL.

I'd like to create a cleanObject() function to go through any class and take its members and apply the mysql_real_escape_string() to them.

If not, i have to sit there and paste that function to each data member that needs it in every one of my DAO classes.

Running this will of course will take a big hit on performance, but at least it will be secure from double quotes for example.

I ask:

is this possible to do? is there a better way?

thanks,

DM

I found this: get_object_vars()

which gives me an assoc array of objects data, from there i can do a loop and convert them.

for anyone that cares.

I'm doing an over-haul on my DAO design and hopefully better incorporate mysql_real_escape_string().

There's no risk of SQL Inj. but data could contain doubles quotes by mistake.
