regarding tpl files

what is a tpl file?watz its necessity in php code?

tpl is a filetype usually used form template files. See Wikipedia web templates for a description.

i am trying 2 analyze d projet so in dat i am getting doubts dats y i asked u
presently i am new 2 php nd i am pursuing my bachelors degree
