Regarding project documentation

Hello.
I am a php developer and currently having a vast project in hand of a portal development. I want to do it neatly with planning and full fledged documentation. can anybody help me providing some links for sample project planning and documentations?

When this is really a vast project, you'd better have a look at some of the project managers (hand)books and build knowledge about PM techniques and systems design and development techniques.

Prince2 is a good PM environment.
