How to connect to a database that is present on LAN. The folder is shared.

What is this database type? is it Ms-Access ?

(In the PHP forum I would assume some database like MySQL, PostGreSQL)
So please elaborate a bit more on your problem.

How do you want to connect (language PHP I assume), to what sort of database do you want to connect, do you use db connection drivers like ADODB, ODBC, ??
