Guidence on PHP Developer

I started my programming using Visual Basic and now for past 8 months I am doing programming with PHP. Since mostly I am working on an existing project which needs small changes here and there.

I need to know what should be the Essential Skills of an Experienced PHP Developer who will be able do programming for Corporate level?

Please advice in this.

Hi,

You need to learn how to interact with a DB, like MySQL, and if I was in you situation I'd probably buy a book or go through a lot of tutorial online.

Start with that.
