session

P: 28
have a site running php pages. Now for some reason the logged_in_user is not being transfer to the new page. any suggestions.
my code begin with
[<?session_start()]
has
[$logged_in_user =$user;
session_register("logged_in_user");

]

any suggestion why logged_in_user is not being transfer from page to page.

session_register() is deprecated.
Use $_SESSION
[php]
<?php
session_start();
$_SESSION['logged_in_user'] = $user;
?>
[/php]

What do you have (php) on the next page?
And show us it correctly; not with brackets around sections.

I got through..
Had to call it back in same fashion.
$_SESSION['logged_in_user'];
