Get a video frame?

How can I get a video frame in a image from a say like youtube or some other websites instead of doing the embed html code?

Any APIs or Example code?

Heya, AJM.

Short of processing the .flv file with something like ffmpeg, I don't think you have many options.

However, YouTube does have an API that you might be able to make use of (http://www.youtube.com/dev).
