Input from the Keyboard

Hi friends,
Could anybody tell me how can I get the input from the keyboard in php???
(i.e)
For ex.,
If I'm going to add 2 numbers, how can i get the 2 no.s at runtime without using html form tags.

Plz.... Tell me soon...
