how can I configure my email server to execute php script when anemail is received to a particular address.

Anyone can direct me to good links or have more details n how to
achieve that? The google search I did on that did not give me very
good links.

In most email servers you can easily pipe to a script ( | php
/path/to/your/script). How this is done, depends on the email server.
