Cron for Windows and running PHP script from it ?

Hello,

I want to fire query at a database and then email the result to a user . This I want to do everyday automatically.

I thought to use cron for it. If there is any other better way please tell me ?

If there is no other way then please tell me a cron software for windows and running a php script from it ?

On Windows use a Windows Scheduled Task not cron.
The task needs to run php.exe and your script on the same command line.
Test the command line from a DOS command prompt then insert this into the 'run' bar inside the task scheduler..
So long as you have the neccesary permissions it is quite easy.
