Converting Time To Timestamp

Hey,

I have lots of times in the following format: g.i, so 12.30, 1.05, 2.25, 4.50 etc.

However I would like to convert the time into a timestamp, so I can sort them by earliest to latest, as at the moment I don't think I can do that?

Help appreciated!

Thanks
