Running BATCH files on local machine

P: 1

Hope you can help.

I run PHP on a remote Linux server.

I want to include EXEC to run a batch file on my local Windows machine to copy some files, invoked from the remote server - can this be done?

Heya, Peter. Welcome to TSDN!

PHP will only execute files on the server. To run a file on the client machine, your best bet would be to use an ActiveX control in Internet Explorer.
