php module for apache (windows):

Hi group.
How can I get PHP working under windows, with Apache web server?
Where can I find the module? I suppose that I need to install a module like
in Linux...
Thanks in advance.

Nuno Paquete <nm*@ispgaya.pt> emerged reluctantly from the curtain
and staggered drunkenly up to the mic. In a cracked and slurred
voice he muttered:

Nuno,

If you do a Google search you'll find both the Apache and PHP websites.
There are several good books about installing them and the one that I
recommend most often is: PHP for the world wide web; second editon; author:
Larry Ullman; pub: Peachpit Press, Visual Quickstart Guide; ISBN: 0321245652

The book is both good as a basic reference and work book.

Just get a package, like appserv, which has apache, mysql, phymyadmin,
etc. Installs in a few minutes without all the integration problems.
There are other packages like that, but this is the one I have used on
Windows.

Complete instructions.

No Windows installer throwing things here and there.

No files in WINNT / WINDOWS directory.

No registry settings.

All files in their own directories.

Easy to back up. Easy to re-install.

First setup takes a little time, reinstall takes minutes.

See if it helps.
