HELP! PANIC! PHP LDAP trouble

I apologize for the loud subject, but I am on a very tight schedule and I
simply *need* to get things going.

For some reason, I can't get the LDAP extension to work on my
WindowsXP/Apache configuration, and I need it to make a simple script for
querying LDAP servers. I tried with PHP5, and now I get the same problem
with PHP4: when the required auxiliary dlls are correctly installed, I get
the error "The operating system cannot run %1". Does anyone know how to get
rid of the error and make the LDAP extension work, either in PHP5 or in
PHP4?

Hi,

I think I had the same problem one day
I don't remember exactly what was the solution, but I think you need to copy
all the *.dll from "php\extensions" to "windows\system32

Thank you, Rod, but that is not my problem. This happens when Apache cannot
find all the required libraries, which is easily solved either by copying
them into system directory, or by adding their location to the PATH
environment variable. In my case, everything is located correctly, but the
error (which seems connected to the WIndows somehow) appears; when I remove
ssleay32.dll, I get the "cannot find module" error message.
