Any RSS Readers For PHP 4.0 and under?

Hi, I want to create a RSS reader to read from sites like Yahoo or Google on news for my Home Page area I am making for my site and I can't find any good php RSS readers that will work for PHP 4.0.

Any suggestions where to look or someone is willing to share there code?
