Executing multiple commands in PHP

110 100+
I have a website application that provides online quotes for insurance. I want the application to send an email to the agent when they have requested binding AND execute a branch to the next CGI page. I have a PHP application that does the job on the email and I can branch to the next page BUT I can't do both. If I place the commands in a javascript it will do the first but always ignores the second. I have also tried branching to the CGI page from the PHP, but can't seem to get that to work. Can anyone tell me how to execute two commands at once?

Hi.

What do you mean by 'execute a branch'?
Could you show us the code that does this?

You can't execute two commands at the same time, but why not just execute one first and the second one right after that?

I simply mean that it opens the next .exe from the .html page it is on.

That would be great but I can't seem to get exce(), passthru(), system(), shell_exec() or return() to function in a way that will execute my CGI executable. I am working on getting my CGI page to execute the PHP page; but so far I haven't been successful. Any suggestions?

Even if it doesn't work it will help us understand what you are doing.

The exec() functions should be able to execute a .exe file, given that the command you pass it is valid.
