If you are not telling what's happening after logout process, I can't say anything. Why don't you elaborate your problem with a example or with the code snippets. Thanks ! and Please.

there are two areas. login and register. register asks username (which is emailid),password and confirm password. i enter required information and it got reistered with database.in user table having userid , username, and password as field. userid is randomly generated using mt_rand.
after registration i login. it is successfull.
then i logout.
if again i try to login.. it neither give any error nor login. thats thae problem.

And why would you think that a failure isn't a coding problem? What else could have caused it?

You could be doing a number of things. Altering user information by accident... Forgetting to start the session... Improperly regenerating session ids... Making accidental database queries...

You need to show us your login code. We're not magicians, you know. :P
