URL variables have no value after migrating to a new server

1
I have a small problem.

I have recently changed hosts and before i changed my site was working perfectly but now I can't grab any values.

here is the code i am using to send the value
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('../Images/index.php?imgnum=1','','width=450,height=380')">
and the code to grab the $imgnum:-
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. $Next  = $imgnum + 1;
  2.
The Imgnum is coming up blank?

anybody got anyideas what is wrong?

Heya, Tour. Welcome to TSDN!

Changed thread title to better describe the problem (did you know that threads whose titles do not follow the Posting Guidelines actually get FEWER responses?).

You probably have register_globals turned off on the new server. The easiest solution is to edit your php.ini file and turn it back on.

The better solution is arguably to go through your code and get in the habit of validating your User input, but the easier solution, especially if this migration is costing you significant money, is to turn register_globals back on.
