what can this be ?

what can this be ?
Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Too many
connections in conn.php on line 28

Fatal error: Too many connections in conn.php on line 28

and the other day my table had crashed

and i dont have flush rights
the server tech support at manashosting is pathetic

finally i did a repair table which solved the problem
and the data was intact

what could have caused these problems

i am freeying the recordset appropriately
so that cant be the problem

yes i am using google groups
are you all not on google groups too ?
i used to use free agent, dejanews, super news etc long time ago
then was off the net for a few years

now i cant find any of the old net
everything is commercial now

Not really. Get a newsreader and a real newsserver. There are still some
which are free.

Personally I don't have a problem with paying for the service, if it's
good (news.individual.com). I even use a commercial newsreader (Forté
Agent) - it's worth it.
