Displaying data from Dropdownlist

Hi, i have a problem with php and dropdownlist . Suppose there are three tables COUNTRY, STATE & DISTRICT. When user pressed frist ddlist , the respective state name will display, again when user pressed 2nd ddlist corresponding district and area must come in a table. I dont know how to progress, plz help

Event : onchange / onblur / onclick,...
1- You have all the distr of all the reg of all the countr in a js array.
2- You reload the page.
3- You load through any ajax solution (iframe / xmlhttprequest) the related data.

Search in google, I've seen more than once implementations of this concept.
