streaming live video, from Web cam to my website

Hello All,

I find myself in a position of having a client that wants to stream video from workshops that his company put on, to the company website, in real time, so other people that can't make it to the workshop can watch online.

Has anyone had any experience with with Streaming Video?

I do appologize for posting this hear, but nobody is seeing my original post in the Misc. section. To make this post about PHP, I have a webhost that supports PHP and my site it built using PHP :) . Ok, I tried.

No, not exactly. But I can recommend that you do searches on 'streaming webcams' (and maybe turn on a SafeSearch filter ;) ). You should also add a programming language to the end of the query like PHP, JavaScript, or AJAX.

Thanks veloctricity. I've found a few website ustream.tv and justin.tv that allow you to stream video, but I think my client might want something a little more substantial. Thanks again.

I use 1AVStreamer. It streams live video from my DV camera in MMS in the format mms://<IP>:<port> like mms://192.168.1.101:8070 for example, and it creates and uploads a customized webpage to my website via FTP already with the live video feed in it. It is really simple, no hassle, and in no time you will be able to invite people to your live video feed.
