Sending Newsletters - Detect Bounces

I'm developing a system to send newsletters to registered users.

I need to know which e-mails bounce, so I thought I would create a dedicated mailbox and put that one in the From and Return-path headers. Then, I could open that mailbox using something like http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/file/3.html and check if I have received any bounce e-mail.

The thing is, how can I check if an e-mail is a bounce or something else? Is there any way to know the e-mail address that didn't receive the e-mail?

Thanks!

Bounce e-mails are hard to identify as such because they don't have any set format or RFC regulations. You're pretty much on your own with this one.
