Search bar on a website

Dear Friends,

I want to give a search bar on my website so that I can search for anything within my website. Please help me how can I do this?

Hrm. Well, the easiest way to do it is just to create a small form that sends a query to google.com/search?q={the query}%20site:{your domain}

If you're using a content management system, you can just create fulltext indexes of your content and then create a script that runs a fulltext search on your database and outputs the results.

For everything else, there's MasterCard.

As in there are several commercial packages that will do this for you. Probably not cheap.
