Rewriting URLs and links on a page

P: 1
Hi
I have a basic grasp of java and now I am trying to get to know php as I would like a particular thing to happen onload and I dont think it is able to be done through java I beleive it has to be server side so here goes..
Is there anyone who can assist in creating a php script to take an affiliate nickname within the URL and replicate it within several URL's within the webpage for example:

http://www.test.com/?xxx.fun it is the xxx that would have to be replicated and not the whole URL. so as to fit inside other URL's without having to do anythig as this is going to populate thier affiliate webpages for them so they only have to market one and not all of them seprately therefore not being as expensive for thier marketing (what a nice guy i am) lol...

If you think you can help then please do even if you only have part of the puzzle it will be a help. and who knows if everybody contributes we might gust crack this puppy...

many thanks all

Regards
