php login video upload display script

I know nothing about php, but I am looking for a program to purchase or someone willing to do something..

I am looking for a way for people to upload videos to a website that will allow me to post them. I also want to make sure they can only upload videos and not something that will crash the site. I want the upload to be by users that have to type in a password/username.

does anyone know of any programs for purchase like that....?
how does one do this is they only know html code?

I'm afraid that this falls well beyond the range of HTML's capabilities. You're going to need a server-side solution, such as a PHP application.

I haven't used this software, but a Google search for 'php video upload scripts' turned up this program:
http://www.alstrasoft.com/videoshare.htm

Might be worth a try, especially since there's a free demo...
