Need custom software - pay good!

Hello,

Maybe I'm at the wrong place but you'll never know :) , so I'll try...
I need somebody who can create a custom software for my small
transportation company. We're moving cars nationwide and there is
website where brokers are posting loads/cars. What we need is a
advanced search tool who can search this website every 20 seconds for
new loads and when a new load becomes available to notify us in some
way. If somebody is interested I'll give him the details about the
website and everything.
Thanks in advance

Mike

Mike,

It can be done, but it's going to be a heck of a load on the server. Is
this your site? Or is it someone else's you wish to mine.

And if it's someone elses, won't a once every twenty second hit be a bit
conspicuous?

if this is not your site, this kind of thing is better written client
side, you would have a browser tab open at work and when new details
arrive it would email you with the details.

So the existing website does not inform you? It is probably not that
much work to adapt your existing website to send you an e-mail when a
broker posts a load or a car.

Best regards,
