How to fix Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header()?

i am new to server side scripts n server technologies. I bought 1 php wordpress theme blog in online. I am installed WAMP Server. I checked in localhost. I am getting below error. I didnt get the solution..

"D:/web is my localhost path"

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in D:\web\mysite\index.php on line 1

Please anybody try to help...

Please tell me how to work on this.

You must have changed the original index.php
Upload it again, make sure you upload it in the correct folder. Its in the wordpress folder, not in the theme folder.
