CMS Development

I'am looking for a nice tutorial on developing CMS using smarty and
PEAR::DB. I would like to write my CMS from scratch but need some help
and can't find any typical tutorials .
Does anybody know where to find such tutorial.

Use the code, Luke !-)
(hint : most PHP-based CMS are OpenSource)

Yes I know and even installed some of them but I would like to write
something that will be mine just because I need to have full controll
over it.

I believe Bruno meant "Look at the code inside one of those and use
ideas from that."
