Linking MySQL to Access cyrillic problem

Hi,

I installed mysql-connector-odbc-3.51.14-win32 and then I connected to my
database. The problem occured because I have Cyrillic letters in MySQL
database and the data I see in Access is illegible, and those signs can't be
read or understood.

How can I solve this situation

Thanks

There are way too many things that could have gone wrong here...
What character set is used in MySQL? Are there any relevant settings
in the ODBC Connector that you should have used but didn't (such as
default character set for a MySQL connection)? Can you store
Cyrillic
symbols in "normal" Access tables without a problem?

Cheers,
NC

Maybe ask in a MySQL or Access newsgroup? This doesn't have anything to
do with PHP.
