What is CMS (Content Management System) and what is frame works

hi..

What's CMS and FRAME WORKS is the both are same or diffrent
i Think drupal is CMS package can i say drupal is frame work,
what's the meaning for frmamework
am in PHP field

CMS (Content Management System) ... helps to manage your content ...
you need no knowledge of programming
Framework ... helps you fasten your programming ... can be used for
everything e.g. programming a video game

In the simplest case, a CMS, that is, a Content Management System is
dedicated to the task of public web sites that have many features in
common, primarily frequent update of content. If nothing else, a CMS
allows the end-user or administrator to add content without needing to
program.

A framework is aimed at creating many different applications that may or may
not have anything in common with each other, are usually database
applications, and may be for intranets, the public internet, or both.
