PHP Forum Templates/Generators for my site

17
Hi guys,

I'm looking at setting up a website to try and learn some php. I think I'd like to include a forum for me and a few of my online gaming buddies.

I could write a forum using php but that seems like a LOT of work when I'm sure there must be pre-made forums out there you can use.

does anyone know where I can find one? and are they free?

One of the good, free, PHP friendly and most versatile ones (my opinion) is the phpBB forum. You can find it at phpBB site

If that is not what you want, you can always google for 'forum free' and lotsb of others.

Yeah it looks good... Its certainly full of features

http://www.phpbb.com/
