Calling functions from external libraries

Perl does this quite often, I searched the internet and PHP documentation for
about 45 minutes and didn't find a thing.

What I /think/ I have to do is create a PECL which if I can avoid doing I would
really like to do so :)

If anyone has had any experience with this using functions from external
libraries, please let me know!

That's what I was afraid of... Luckily I found that what I wanted to use
(libxml) is already a part of PHP :D

Good to know though, even if it's not what I want.

Thanks,
Jeff
