XAMPP and Windows Vista

P: n/a
Hik,
I'm ready to buy a new desktop PC with Windows Vista, but need to be
sure XAMPP will run on it OK. I'd much prefer to install using the
XAMPP Windows install routine, rather than manually.

Has anyone tried installing XAMPP under Windows Vista yet? What's been
your experience?

Thanks and regards,

Did initially use XAMPP a couple of years ago, to see the config files
it made.

Can say that Apache, PHP & MySQL loaded up just fine onto an RC1 of
Vista from about a year ago, so can only imagine XAMPP will work as well.

(To install, just replicated the directory structure over to the Vista
RC box, ran a couple of batch files to include MySQL & Apache as
start-up services.)
