php is just another script language like html, but php can have be much more active and search for info a user has provides. It executes a command, unlike html which only displays a static page (most active things on html will be javascript) email me at xxxxxx@yahoo.co.uk for more help

This is not really true.

PHP is nothing like HTML. HTML is acctually more a markup language than a scripting language for that matter

PHP is run server side. So unlike Javascript and HTML, PHP code will never be sent to the browser. It is run by the server and the results are sent (usually as HTML) to the client.

PHP is widely used to interact with databases such as MySQL and Oracle to create interactive content that neither Javascript or HTML can do propperly.
