PHP hidden variables disappear in firefox 2.0

Hey all, has anyone seen this or know what to do about it?

I have hidden variables with both id and name. On form submit in IE they appear in both $_REQUEST and $_POST. But in Firefox 2.0 there is nothing! My app completely loses state and so can't add anything to the cart!

Any ideas?
