Differences between Unix production and Windows development environment

Dear friends:

I have two environment development(windows) and production(UNIX)

The code is the same in two environments, but production runs fine and develop have a lot of problems.

Do you know if there are some additional considerations to work in develop environment?

Thanks a lot.

There are, of course, differences, but it would be better if you elaborated a bit more on the problems that are encountered in development.
